HopeStone Insight Uganda (HIU) is a forward-thinking organization that influences policy and investment decisions through the use of economic evidence and creative advocacy to strengthen health systems and improve health outcomes.

Our work bridges the gap between economic evidence and action, helping decision-makers understand what works, for whom, and at what cost, while ensuring that community voices remain central to policy and development processes.

Our History

HopeStone Insight Uganda began as informal youth gatherings where lived experiences were shared and expressed through dialogue, poetry, and creative storytelling. These conversations evolved into the HopeStone Youth Hub in 2022, which provided a platform for expression and community engagement. In 2025, the initiative evolved into HopeStone Insight Uganda, a registered organization focused on influencing policy and investment decisions to improve health outcomes through economic evidence and creative advocacy still expressed through art, dialogue, poetry, and creative storytelling Today, HIU works with communities, policymakers, and partners to strengthen the link between economic decisions and health outcomes.
