Trevor Emojel is the Country Youth Coordinator at AHF Uganda Cares, one of Uganda’s largest HIV/AIDS organizations, where he leads the design, planning, and implementation of national youth programmes on HIV prevention, care and treatment, and advocacy.

He is also the Co-founder and Board Chairperson of HopeStone Insight Uganda, supporting the organization’s vision of advancing equitable, people-centred, and sustainable health systems.

A passionate youth leader, Trevor is a leading voice in youth health policy, with experience in HIV, Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), advocacy, and meaningful youth engagement.

He has authored policy papers and abstracts, contributed to national and international policy platforms, and represented young people in high-level dialogues.

Trevor holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and Social Administration from Makerere University.

Juma Segujja is an Economist at the Bank of Uganda, serving in the Strategy and Sustainability function, where he supports strategic planning and sustainability initiatives.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Makerere University and is completing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the University of East London.

Before joining the Bank of Uganda, Juma gained four years of experience at Pearl Bank in credit analysis, business and institutional banking, relationship management, and risk management.

He brings expertise in economics, finance, governance, and sustainability, strengthening HopeStone’s strategic oversight and long-term organizational development.

Flavia Kyomukama is the Executive Director of the National Forum of People Living with HIV/AIDS Networks in Uganda and a respected advocate for health equity, human rights, and community leadership.

With over two decades of experience, she has championed policy and financing efforts related to HIV, sexual and reproductive health, gender equality, disability inclusion, non-communicable diseases, and the rights of marginalized communities at national, regional, and global levels.

Flavia brings extensive experience in health policy, governance, strategic partnerships, health financing, resource mobilization, and community-led advocacy, strengthening HopeStone’s commitment to inclusive and sustainable health systems.

Sarah Enid Cheptoyek is a law graduate from Uganda Christian University and a Bar Course student at the Law Development Centre.

She has gained practical legal experience through the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions, supporting criminal case management and plea bargaining initiatives alongside judicial officers and prosecutors.

As the youngest member of the Board, Sarah brings a fresh perspective, legal insight, and a passion for youth leadership, justice, and ethical governance.

Her contribution strengthens HopeStone’s commitment to meaningful youth participation and accountable decision-making.

Dr. Boniface Bongonyinge is a Public Health Specialist at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) with extensive experience in HIV prevention, health systems strengthening, and clinical care.

He holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Manchester, a Postgraduate Certificate in Public Management from Arizona State University, and a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) from Gulu University.

Dr. Bongonyinge brings expertise in public health programming, quality improvement, and health systems strengthening, supporting HopeStone’s commitment to evidence-based approaches and improved health outcomes.

Dr. Daniel Byamukama is a Public Health Physician with over 20 years of experience in HIV prevention, clinical care, and public health programme design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation.

He currently serves as Head of the National Multi-sectoral HIV Prevention Response at the Uganda AIDS Commission, coordinating HIV prevention efforts across government, civil society, and development partners.

He holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) from Makerere University and a Master of Public Health (MPH) from the University of Melbourne, Australia.

Dr. Byamukama contributes strategic leadership in HIV policy, multisectoral coordination, and public health programming.

Patricia Humura is a human rights practitioner, bioethicist, and health rights advocate with experience in policy advocacy, youth engagement, and community-led health initiatives.

She serves as the Programme Manager and Lead Advisor for Period Equity Africa at Irise Institute East Africa, advancing menstrual health, gender equality, and health equity.

Patricia brings expertise in human rights, bioethics, and youth participation, contributing valuable perspectives on ethical, inclusive, and rights-based approaches to health policy and programming.

Allen Kuteesa Norah is a health and human rights advocate with over 25 years of experience advancing community-led approaches to health, accountability, and equitable access to services.

She is the Executive Director of Uganda Stop TB Partnership (USTP) and serves on Uganda’s Country Coordinating Mechanism (CCM) for the Global Fund as the representative for TB-affected communities.

Allen has held senior leadership roles in health and human rights organizations, including serving as Executive Director of the Health Rights Action Group (HAG).

She brings extensive experience in HIV, TB, advocacy, community mobilization, and health accountability, strengthening HopeStone’s commitment to community-driven and equitable health systems.
